Application
Palladium acetate is a typical palladium salt soluble in organic solvents, which can be widely used to induce or catalyze various types of organic synthesis reactions. There are three types of reactions it participates in:
1.Pd(II) activates the alkene by coordinating with the alkene, and then is attacked by the nucleophile;
2.Activation of C-H bonds of aromatic hydrocarbons, benzyl and allyl groups;
3.As the precursor of Pd(0) reagent, low-valent Pd(0) reagent can form Pd(II)-aryl, Pd(II)-vinyl, Pd(II) with unsaturated groups through oxidative addition -Allyl intermediates, which act to activate aryl, vinyl and allyl chloride or allyl acetate.
