Application
Lutetium oxide is used in the manufacture of magnetic materials, optical glass, colorants for ceramics, laser materials, luminescent materials, and electronic materials. Lutetium oxide-based transparent ceramic materials will play an important role in future digital radiography technology systems, especially suitable for static digital imaging and fluoroscopy applications, and is also a new type of polycrystalline laser working medium.
