Usage

In food processing as a preservative, bleaching agent, loose agent.

The spice industry is used to produce vanillin. Used as preservative in brewing industry, rubber coagulant and dechlorination agent after bleaching cotton cloth. Organic intermediates, dyes and tanneries are used as reducing agents in the electroplating industry, wastewater treatment in oil fields and as mineral dressing agents in mines.
