APPLICATION
It is widely used in organic synthesis, such as reacting with hypochlorous acid to form trimethylacetic acid, reacting with alkaline potassium manganese aqueous solution to be oxidized to trimethylpyruvate, and condensation reactions with aldehydes, ketones and acetic anhydride.
In addition, pinonone is also used in the production of pesticide fungicides such as benzlotriazol, triazodone, triazodone, biphenyltriazodone, enazodone, simazodone, as well as plant growth regulators such as paclobutrazol, enazodone, butazolazole, butazolazole, mestamazole, etc.
It can also be used as a solvent and extractant, as well as in the production of pharmaceutical products.
