Application
Lanthanum oxide is mainly used in the manufacture of precision optical glass and optical fibers. Also used in the electronics industry as ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramic doping agent. It is also used as a raw material for the preparation of lanthanum boride, and as a catalyst for petroleum separation and purification.
