Application
Silver nitrate is used in analytical chemistry to precipitate chloride ions. Silver nitrate is used in the inorganic industry to make other silver salts. Silver nitrate is used in the electronics industry to manufacture conductive adhesives, new gas purifiers, silver-plated uniform pressure suits and gloves for live work, etc. Silver nitrate is used in the photosensitive industry to manufacture photosensitive materials such as motion picture film, X-ray negative film and photographic film. Silver nitrate is used in the electroplating industry for silver plating of electronic components and other handicrafts, and is also widely used as a silver plating material for mirrors and thermos flasks.
